Exact Z scale (1:220th) military models

The Abstosswagen (control cars or pusher cars) were kept at the ends of the train and carried general stores, track repairing materials etc. They were considered more expendable than the rest of the train and so if any mines were encountered the control car would take the damage.

 

These wagons ran at the ends of the train and featured a quick-release remote-control coupling so they could be uncoupled from the Panzertragerwagen quickly to enable the Pz38(t) light tanks to disembark.

 

You can see from the photographs that I have modelled separate loads onto the two Abstosswagens within the train.
