The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is the most up-to-date and powerful self- propelled artillery system in the world today. The first production vehicle was handed over to the German Army on lst July 1998.
The PzH 2000 is driven by a 736 kW MTU 881 Ka-500 Diesel engine and reaches a maximum speed of over 60 km/h.
In service with Germany (which has 185), Italy (70), Netherlands (57) and Greece (with 24).
This is a very large AFV - in Z scale it measures 53mm long (36mm excluding the gun barrel), 16.3mm wide and 15.7mm high.
The turret of the model rotates and the gun elevation can be changed. A very precise and accurate model.
